My Baby

They were three birth mates when their mother used to stay with them.
So what if they are not three anymore and what if their mother was no more that day? Now they are two male kittens and know very well how to cry in a way to let me take it if they are hungry.
I'm not sure if they really miss the presence of their third mate who was the youngest and a female.
But there is one thing I know that I know she's been missing and what all share of care and affection she deserved, certainly the other two little ones are getting.

Kittens are just the same way other babies are. They are innocent, stupid, funny actors and possess all those features that other babies have! The only difference I can tell is that we can't wrap a nappy over them to keep safe from their unpredictable potty.
But they are very possessive and even stingier than any other baby creatures according to me. Once we create a friendly relationship with them, then all it takes is a little typical tone from our mouth to make them run towards us with their unsteady jumps. Then they would lift their lilliputian front claws and start scratching my shoes until I grab them around their fur. They would do this only in two cases, one when they are hungry and screaming for milk and two when there is nothing with them to play with.

Till now they do realize that someone who gave them birth has been missing and also the one who used to be their little companion a few weeks back has been missing too and if they want to live more then they have to stick together all the time.
There was a time which came when one who was the eldest of these two left out kittens disappeared. I didn't shatter keeping in mind that from now on the younger one had to stand alone through these dreadful nights. He got very slim and weak. Then the third night was the night when I found that this younger kitten had also disappeared. Since he was the only kitten left with us I searched him everywhere leaving no single place where he was likely to be found. I remember that night prior to his disappearance when I sneaked out to look in what this lonely kitten was up to. I saw him and he looked humble as he wanted to go along with me.

This could often happen only with the animal babies as they are not as lucky as the babies who belong with us. They are always under the wrap of full care where they are yield to breathe with no worries. Nothing becomes as much important as the sense of 'my baby'.

The Baby and Rain

Rain! One of the nature's gift on earth. It is often criticized by others when it falls unexpectedly. Much like an unexpected baby. It becomes embarrassing for them.
The matter is their look out because here we're concerned with the babies and their world.

We know the simple meaning of  rain that is 'water falling in drops from the clouds'.
But for the babies its meaning is very much vibrant. As in when they start understanding things maybe after 12 months from birth, their true Umbrella (Mother) puts effort to explain the term rain in many stupid ways. For instance-

A mother would tell a story where in the sky has groups of little ones and they are crying hard so the tears are being rained from their eyes, while the others would say 'some taps were left open in the sky which is why its raining'.
How weird those babies would feel about that when they are grown up. Anyway Let that be!

For me the world is like puddles made up of rain water where these tadpoles take birth so that means possibly 19 years back I was one of  them. When I opened my eyes in this puddle, I saw hardly any clothes on me. I said okay! Then right before the doctor decided to make me cry and do the honors of spanking me, I began crying and that he was deprived of the grand spanking.

Rain drops don't choose places to fall, neither they choose shells to form a pearl. They are at liberty to fall everywhere. Likewise our babies fancy an airy environment to grow well for good deeds in the puddles of evil and later on become a freshwater pearl.

A Baby's Naughty Dream

One of the greatest achievements on earth is to know how living beings have nightmares. We see dreams at night and wonder for the same next morning. But does anyone ever try to figure out what leads us to have such dreams?

Um I think Yes, some researchers do!

Well that's a high level thing so I better come up to my point.

We talk about babies having dreams! Lets begin having one thing in mind that while a baby is dozing off and his tummy is moving up and down, he's always lost and away from the 'whole world' thing. So what we get to see is a little life having a great time in bed.

If we notice one thing, we can keep the baby's mood always happy. All we gotta do is to make sure that the baby has a full sleep each time before getting up. Unless he's up on his own, let him sleep.

While the baby is in sleep, some funny dreams are likely to come over in his mind.
If he's hungry he would see his favorite warm cereals, yum-yum pumpkin, some avocados, banana slices, spoons of crushed sweet potato etc etc.

Their real naughtiness comes out after six months of birth when they are allowed to swallow non fluid items including all the above. They get bored of typical same foods of all times so they always fancy the experiments of different tastes.
These munchkins won't tolerate the same solid foods as the same food texture becomes common to them. Some eat anything which is put in front, while some have a specific preference with bread, pasta, yogurt, cheese and crackers which could probably lead the baby to a healthy dehydration. Hence they badly need some apples.

The healthy food is all they want so I believe that the most common dreams and nightmares of the babies are about Bread as they need to grow bigger and healthier to have a full of life.
The dreams certainly help them to flying high toward a perfect joy.

A Smiling Baby

Babies are the most beautiful gifts bestowed by God to parents. Their smiles are enough to make anyone smile in return. One gets bound to smile back when a baby is smiling to them.
I think to myself how a baby attracts me towards him making me broadening my lips.

A baby boy or girl! It hardly matters, I'm tempted to carry the baby up in my hands, fondle and kiss him. The way they look up to everything is worth seeing as it makes the baby acting in an unknown comic role. I smile and sometimes laugh to myself while seeing him looking everywhere around observing things out.
Now this is how they learn and get to know random things kept or moving around them.

I call them jobless people as they have nothing to do until they are old enough to get in a Playgroup. I'm always looking to see them crawling toward objects that capture their attention and they would first somehow reach their and gradually lift the object just to put it on the tongue to have its taste no matter how it looks out. Just right then the interesting thing is to catch them while doing it and take their prey immediately out of their tempted mouth.

Babies have their own way of memorizing things as they start speaking and they also name different things cutely with their little sense. The names given by them to other things would be:
"Chai-chai for Sparrow, Kabbu for pigeon, Chu-chu for dog, Mem-mem for goat and so on, Sweet!!"

For me, babies are like Angels so they will never know if they are doing something wrong. They look at us and smile, they look at creeps and cry, they cry with warm tears but smile with no fears. Their smile is the best thing when i want to realize how innocent these Angels are.

I wish I were a baby and were aware of that.
